Markdown and slide syntax

Fit a large heading to the available width

Understand <!-- fit --> and what to do when a heading becomes larger than expected.

Actual interfaceChoose between fit and splitting
1 / 2
Use `<!-- fit -->` to enlarge a short heading.
Emphasize short headings with fit, and split slides when content grows.

Use fit for short statements

Write # <!-- fit --> Build less. to scale the heading to the available width. Fit does not represent a fixed font size.

Keep normal headings predictable

Do not use fit for long sentences or regular page headings. If it becomes unexpectedly large, remove fit, shorten the statement, or use a normal H1 or H2.

If the issue continues, contact us with the error message and time. Do not include passwords or Markdown content.
