Presentation apps may reflow content

PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides measure and substitute fonts differently. The standard export prioritizes visual fidelity, while editable elements may be reflowed by the receiving app.

Reduce layout differences

Use short headings, leave space around body content, and use supported fonts. Because fit is not a fixed size, avoid it when an editable heading must retain an exact font size.

Choose a format for the intended use

Use PDF or standard PowerPoint when sharing the finished appearance. Choose editable PowerPoint or Google Slides when recipients need to change text and shapes. The more editability you need, the more carefully you should check reflow.
